Overview

This training is designed to empower participants to build their own AI agents. We will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to design, develop, and deploy agentic AI solutions that are tailored to their specific business needs. Combining theoretical concepts and guided hands-on exercises, participants will gain the experience and expertise to integrate agentic workflows into their daily work. This training is catered for beginners and intermediate learners, both business users and IT developers, from diverse industries and business functions.

Objectives

Upon completion of this training program, participants will:

1. Understand the fundamentals of AI agents and their applications
2. Select and design processes that can benefit from Agentic AI
3. Design, develop, and deploy AI agents using a tried-and-tested framework
4. Implement best practices for Agentic Process Automation

Pre-requisites

• Basic familiarity with computers and business processes.
• Laptop with necessary software pre-installed (details provided upon registration).
• No prior coding experience is required; however, familiarity with basic programming concepts is advantageous.

1. Introduction to Agentic AI and AI agents
2. Identifying suitable use cases for Agentic Process Automation
3. Getting started with AI Agent Framework and builder platform*
4. Creating your first AI agent — specifying goals, instructions, inputs/outputs, examples, constraints and guardrails
5. Adding knowledge to your AI agent, e.g. documents
6. Integrating your AI agent with existing business applications through triggers and actions
7. Testing and deploying your AI agent
8. Mini capstone project
9. Best practices for building production-grade AI agents

* Supported builder platforms include Microsoft Copilot Studio, LangGraph, CrewAI, Salesforce Agent Builder, Google Vertex AI Agent Builder, and more.
